Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm felicitations to the Asagba of Asaba, His Royal Majesty, Obi Prof. Epiphany Azinge, SAN, OON, on the joyous occasion of his 70th birth anniversary, marking three scores and ten years of a life of excellence and service.

Oborevwori in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, hailed the distinguished monarch for his enduring commitment to peace, unity, and the cultural renaissance of Asaba Kingdom.

The Governor described Obi Azinge as a revered traditional ruler, erudite scholar, and symbol of honour whose impactful reign and exemplary academic legacy continue to inspire pride among the people of Asaba and across Delta State.

Oborevwori said: “On behalf of the Government and people of Delta State, I heartily congratulate Your Majesty, Obi Prof. Epiphany Azinge, SAN, OON, the Asagba of Asaba, on the glorious celebration of your platinum jubilee.

“Your reign, though still young, has reflected your deep-rooted values of peace, inclusiveness, and progressive leadership. As an accomplished academic and a custodian of culture, you have brought renewed prestige to the traditional institution and honour to our dear state.”

The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to supporting the traditional institution and assured the Asagba of continued collaboration in advancing the collective aspirations of the Asaba people.

He prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, and good health upon the monarch, wishing him many more fruitful years of peaceful and prosperous reign.
