BENIN CITY, Edo State — Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of Chief Emmanuel Iyase and Agbogun Emmanuel Sunday as Special Advisers to the state government.
According to a special government announcement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., Chief Emmanuel Iyase was appointed Special Adviser to the Governor on Traditional Matters (Edo South).
Agbogun Emmanuel Sunday, on the other hand, was appointed Special Adviser to the Governor on Civil Society Organisations and Non-Governmental Organisations.
The statement said the appointments were made as part of the administration’s efforts to strengthen governance and advance its developmental agenda.
The newly appointed Special Advisers are expected to deploy their experience, expertise and commitment in the discharge of their responsibilities and contribute to the implementation of the government’s policies and programmes.
The Edo State Government said the appointments take immediate effect.
