Former Edo State Governor and Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, Adams Oshiomhole, has reiterated his commitment to ensuring that every community and constituent in the district has a voice in the affairs of government.

The former President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), known for his grassroots approach to leadership and advocacy for workers’ rights, said effective representation is built on listening to the people, respecting their views and ensuring that no community is left behind in the development process.

According to Oshiomhole, every ward, community and stakeholder across Edo North deserves equal attention, stressing that true leadership is measured not only by policies and projects but also by the willingness to engage with the people and carry them along.

He maintained that his representation at the National Assembly is anchored on inclusiveness, accessibility and continuous consultation with constituents to better understand their needs and aspirations.

The senator emphasized that every voice in Edo North matters, adding that leadership becomes stronger when citizens are valued, heard and actively involved in shaping decisions that affect their lives.

Oshiomhole reaffirmed his resolve to continue providing purposeful representation, assuring constituents that no part of Edo North would be neglected in his efforts to attract development and promote the overall welfare of the district.

His remarks reflect his longstanding political philosophy of people-centred governance, a principle that has defined his career from his days as a labour leader to his tenure as governor of Edo State and now as senator representing Edo North.
