Paula White-Cain: ‘We Don’t Need a Bigger Platform, We Need God’s Presence’

Christian minister Paula White-Cain has called on believers and church leaders to pursue the presence of God above programs, platforms and personal recognition, stressing that everything in ministry ultimately belongs to God.

White-Cain made the remarks while reflecting on the transformative power of God’s presence, saying it brings prosperity, healing, wholeness, transformation and correction.

According to her, the pursuit of God’s presence should remain the central focus of the Church rather than the desire for more elaborate programs or larger platforms.

“That is what we are after. That is what we need. Not a better program. Not a bigger platform. His presence,” White-Cain said.

She also called for more shepherds and Christian leaders who, like the biblical King David, would handle responsibly whatever God has entrusted to them.

White-Cain urged believers to recover a deeper reverence for God and warned against turning ministry into a pursuit centered on individual churches, ministries or personal kingdoms.

“Because it was never ours to begin with,” she said, emphasizing that the Church, ministry and people belong to God.

She concluded her message by pointing believers back to the central figure of the Christian faith: Jesus Christ.

“It is His kingdom. His church. His ministry. His people. It is all about Jesus,” White-Cain said.
