Peace Ibiyeomie, wife of Salvation Ministries founder Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has advised women to be cautious about maintaining close friendships with divorced women who are unwilling to either reconcile with their former spouses or remarry.
Speaking during the church’s Mother’s Day celebration service, the clergywoman said some divorced women often discourage others from embracing marriage while secretly remaining involved in relationships with men.
According to her, if men were truly unnecessary as some claim, such women would not continue to engage in intimate relationships with them privately.
Peace Ibiyeomie encouraged women to instead support reconciliation and healthy remarriage where possible, stressing the importance of positive attitudes toward family and marriage.
