Former Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, has celebrated his wife, Maryann Shaibu, on her birthday, describing her as his “rock, partner and best friend.”

Shaibu, in a heartfelt birthday message to his wife, expressed gratitude for her love, care and unwavering support, saying he was blessed to share life’s journey with her.

He described Maryann as “the sunshine that brightens my days and the stars that light up my nights,” while acknowledging her kindness, compassion, strength and generosity.

According to him, their years together have been filled with beautiful memories, including moments of laughter, adventures, triumphs and challenges.

“Through it all, you have remained my rock, my partner, and my best friend. Your kindness, compassion, strength, and generosity continue to inspire me every day to become a better person,” Shaibu said.

The former deputy governor assured his wife of his continued love and support, promising to stand by her through the different seasons of life and support her dreams.

“As we celebrate your birthday today, I want you to know just how much I appreciate, cherish, and treasure you. I promise to always support your dreams, hold your hand through life’s ups and downs, stand by you through every season, and love you even more with each passing day,” he said.

Shaibu also prayed for greater joy, accomplishments, good health, fulfilment and happiness for his wife as she begins another year of her life.

He said the birthday celebration was not only from him but also on behalf of their children, who joined him in celebrating Maryann.

“On behalf of our children and myself, we wish you a very happy and memorable birthday. We love and celebrate you today and always,” he said.

In a particularly affectionate tribute, Shaibu described his wife as his “ALOWENS of the UNIVERSE” and “Ororo 1,” before reaffirming his enduring love for her.
