ABUJA — The Presidency says Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made notable progress across key sectors of the economy over the past three years, citing reforms and projects aimed at driving growth and improving national development.
Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga disclosed this on Monday while briefing journalists ahead of a planned nationwide media tour designed to assess and verify projects executed by the administration.
According to him, the projects span all states of the federation and cut across critical areas such as infrastructure, human capital development and economic expansion. He explained that the tour is intended to demonstrate the administration’s commitment to transforming the country and delivering on its promises.
Onanuga expressed confidence that the scale of the government’s efforts would become clearer once the projects are publicly showcased, adding that the administration has made tangible impacts that have reshaped the national landscape and renewed optimism among citizens.
Also speaking, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media, Tunde Rahman, said arrangements were underway for journalists to independently monitor projects across the country. He noted that the initiative would provide an opportunity to highlight interventions targeted at improving living standards and creating value for Nigerians.
Representatives from the ministries of health, transport and information also outlined achievements recorded in their respective sectors during the briefing, expressing optimism that ongoing reforms would help tackle longstanding national challenges.
In the health sector, Nasiru Mohammed pointed to the Presidential Initiative to unlock the healthcare value chain as a major milestone. He said the policy has strengthened local drug manufacturing, reduced costs and attracted growing interest from multinational pharmaceutical firms, particularly following the signing of a supporting Executive Order by the President.
