The University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) today honoured outstanding participants of the World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW) 2025 Quiz Competition, organised by the UBTH Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) Committee.
Awards and cash prizes were presented to the top performers in recognition of their remarkable knowledge, teamwork, and discipline throughout the contest.
The College of Nursing emerged as the overall winner, securing first place. The School of Midwifery claimed second place, while the Environmental Health Department finished strong in third position.
UBTH extends warm congratulations to the winners and applauds all participating teams for their dedication to promoting antimicrobial awareness and responsible stewardship.
Management also commends the AMS Committee for its unwavering commitment to educating and empowering trainees across the hospital in the global fight against antimicrobial resistance.
