Today, February 14th, is widely recognized around the world as Valentine’s Day — a day often associated with expressing love. Yet love is not meant to be confined to a single date. True love is meant to be lived daily. Scripture teaches that God is love, and His love extends to all people, every day (John 3:16; 1 John 4:7–11, 16; 3:16–18).
Good morning, dearly beloved. We thank God for the gift of a new day and the privilege of life. May today be better than yesterday by His grace. As the sun rises in the east, may blessings reach you and your loved ones. Amen.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY – Saturday, February 14, 2026.
1 Corinthians 13:13
“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”
Faith, hope, and love are essential virtues for our spiritual journey. Through faith we find peace with God, access His grace, and rejoice in hope. Even life’s trials develop patience, character, and deeper hope. And hope does not disappoint because God’s love is poured into our hearts.
We are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8), and we continue our daily walk by faith. Yet no matter how strong our faith and hope may be, without love they are incomplete. Love is the clearest evidence of God’s presence in us.
Scripture reminds us that genuine love is not only spoken — it is lived. It is expressed through compassion, generosity, and truth. To love others is to reflect God’s nature.
Love is called the greatest because it is eternal. It is the virtue that extends beyond this life. May God continually increase His love within us, driving out hatred, division, and harmful speech. Amen.
