ABUJA — A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aligned with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has re-elected Abdulrahman Mohammed as National Chairman and Samuel Anyanwu as National Secretary.
The duo emerged through a consensus arrangement on Sunday at the faction’s elective national convention held at the Velodrome of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
The convention, attended by loyal members of the Wike-backed bloc, reaffirmed the faction’s leadership structure amid ongoing internal divisions within the party.
Both Mohammed and Anyanwu will continue to steer the affairs of the faction as it consolidates its position within the broader dynamics of the PDP.
