Senior Pastor of Rock of Ages Christian Assembly International, Pastor Charles Osazuwa, has emphasized that thanksgiving is a rare but powerful virtue that sustains God’s blessings and unlocks greater dimensions of grace.
Speaking on the importance of gratitude, Osazuwa said many people find it easy to make requests before God but often forget to return thanks for what He has already done.

Quoting Psalm 100:4 (MSG) — “Enter with the password: ‘Thank you,’” — he urged believers to cultivate a lifestyle of appreciation.
The pastor outlined six key dimensions of thanksgiving:

1. Sustainability of God’s Blessings — Thanksgiving preserves divine blessings in our lives (Malachi 2:2).
2. Gateway to Future Blessings — A grateful heart opens the door to new testimonies (1 Samuel 17:35–37).

3. Pathway to Increase — Gratitude multiplies what we have (John 6:11–12).
4. Activator of Divine Presence — Thanksgiving invites God’s presence into our lives (Psalm 100:1–4).

5. Fertilizer for Greatness — A thankful heart propels one to higher levels of destiny (Jonah 2:9, Daniel 6:10).
6. Weapon of Defense Against Adversity — Thanksgiving shields believers from trials and oppression (Deuteronomy 28:47–48).

Osazuwa concluded that thanksgiving is not just a reaction to blessings received but a spiritual principle that attracts more favor, sustains progress, and strengthens believers in times of challenge.
