A plane carrying captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, has arrived at Stewart Air National Guard Base in New York, according to a federal official.
The Venezuelan leader is expected to face drugs and weapons charges in Manhattan federal court next week.
The couple was dragged from their bedroom during a large-scale operation by the US military in Caracas overnight.
The US Department of Justice unsealed a new indictment today against Maduro, along with his wife and son.
