The Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM), Southern Region 2, Dr. Azemhe Azena, has announced his decision to take a break from active pastoral service after 18 years of dedicated ministry.
In a heartfelt statement released via his official platforms, Pastor Azena expressed profound gratitude to God for the grace and privilege to serve faithfully in Omega Fire Ministry for nearly two decades without blemish.
He also paid glowing tribute to his spiritual parents, Apostle Johnson Suleman and Dr. Lizzy Johnson Suleman, acknowledging their immense role in shaping his spiritual growth and personal journey.
“Meeting them was the best thing that happened to my life,” he said, describing their mentorship, coaching, and spiritual impartation as exceptional and life-transforming.
Addressing members of Omega Fire Ministry Benin 1, OFM pastors across the globe, and viewers of Turning Point, Pastor Azena described his decision as one of the hardest he has ever had to make.
According to him, the decision followed a long season of prayer, fasting, emotional struggle, and medical counsel. Quoting a familiar saying that “everything that has a beginning must have an end,” he explained that he ultimately yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit, despite his deep love and commitment to the ministry.
Pastor Azena revealed that his spiritual father, Apostle Johnson Suleman, responded with understanding, prayed with him, and graciously approved his request on January 1, 2026.
“I really appreciate him. He remains my father,” Pastor Azena affirmed.
Anticipating speculation, the pastor urged the public to disregard rumours, gossip, and misinformation, stressing that only information released directly by him or through his verified social media platforms should be considered authentic.
Reaffirming his love for Omega Fire Ministry, Pastor Azena expressed heartfelt appreciation to members of OFM Benin 1, Turning Point viewers, and OFM pastors worldwide, while offering prayers and blessings to all.
