The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William F. Kumuyi, has been honored with a special recognition and award by the World Book of Records in acknowledgment of his lifelong dedication to the preaching of the Gospel and his global evangelistic ministry.
The recognition, presented in August 2026, celebrates Pastor Kumuyi’s decades of faithful service, unwavering commitment to Christian ministry, and far-reaching impact through evangelism across nations.
Responding to the honor, Pastor Kumuyi attributed the recognition entirely to God’s grace, emphasizing that the award was not a personal achievement but a testament to God’s faithfulness throughout his years of ministry.
“I give all the glory to God for the privilege of receiving this recognition from the World Book of Records. This honor is not about me, but about the faithfulness of God and His grace that has sustained me through the years of preaching the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“I humbly dedicate this award to the Lord Jesus Christ, to the countless co-laborers in the ministry, and to every believer who has faithfully supported the work of evangelism around the world.”
He also expressed hope that the recognition would encourage greater commitment to the Christian mission worldwide.
“My prayer is that this recognition will inspire even greater commitment to fulfilling the Great Commission until every nation hears the saving message of Christ. To God alone be all the glory.”
Pastor Kumuyi is widely recognized as one of Africa’s leading Christian ministers. Through decades of preaching, teaching, and global evangelistic outreaches, his ministry has reached millions across continents with the message of salvation in Jesus Christ.
The World Book of Records recognition adds to the growing acknowledgment of his enduring contribution to global Christian evangelism and ministry.
