The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed reports that it has withdrawn its list for the 2027 presidential campaign council, describing the reports as false and speculative.
Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, reportedly dismissed the claim in an interview with TheCable on Tuesday morning, saying there was no decision to withdraw the list.
Morka described the reports as rumours and clarified that any changes to the composition or structure of the campaign council would be formally communicated by the party.
His comments come amid growing political activities and speculation within the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections, with developments surrounding the party’s campaign structure attracting significant attention.
The APC spokesperson’s clarification is expected to put to rest the reports of an alleged withdrawal, at least for now, as the party continues preparations for the 2027 presidential contest.
