Good morning to all beloved brothers and sisters in Christ. We thank the Lord for His mercies that endure forever. By His mercy we are not consumed. It is a great privilege to be alive today among the living on earth, and we pray that God’s purposes for our lives—today and in destiny—will be fulfilled in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
Friday, February 13, 2026. Romans 8:28
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
According to today’s scripture, there is no such thing as ill luck or bad luck for the children of God. Everything that happens on earth is known and permitted by the Lord for the good of His children and for a definite purpose.
For this scripture to become real in our lives, two conditions are emphasized:
1. Lovers of God
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment.
How true is this in our lives today? Are there things occupying the first place in our hearts above God? What do we love more than Him? Let us pause and reflect.
For every true child of God who has experienced genuine salvation in Christ Jesus, the Lord is supreme in heart and life—above everything and everyone. True disciples are lovers of God and His Kingdom. Each of us should ask: Am I truly a disciple of Jesus Christ?
2. Called by God
God has saved us and called us with a holy calling—not according to our works, but according to His purpose and grace. Our calling is a calling to holiness.
What is holiness?
Simply put, holiness is becoming like Jesus Christ in heart and in life. It is a daily walk that reflects His character. We are called to live set apart, honoring God in our thoughts, words, and actions.
As Scripture reminds us:
“Be followers of God as dear children, and walk in love, as Christ has loved us.”
We are encouraged to live lives marked by gratitude, purity, humility, and love—lives that reflect the transforming power of God’s grace.
