Benin City — The Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku, has announced plans to seek re-election as representative of Owan West Constituency.

Agbebaku made this known in an official invitation to leaders, stakeholders, and residents of Owan West, calling on them to attend his declaration ceremony.

According to him, the decision to seek another term is driven by a continued commitment to service, development, and the collective progress of the constituency.

“This journey has never been about me; it has always been about service, impact, and the collective progress of our people,” he stated, noting that his administration has recorded significant achievements across Owan West.

The Speaker described the upcoming declaration as a renewal of a shared vision aimed at building a stronger and more prosperous constituency.

The event is scheduled to hold on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Holy Trinity Grammar School, beginning at 12:00 noon.

Agbebaku urged constituents to attend in large numbers, describing their presence as a demonstration of unity, continuity, and support for ongoing development efforts.

He added that the gathering would not only mark his formal declaration but also serve as an opportunity to reaffirm collective commitment to the future growth of Owan West.
