The Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chief Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku on his elevation, promised an inclusive leadership, and a sure support for his constituents who showed him love at the poll by giving him their vote to represent them at the House of Assembly.

 

Rt Hon Chief Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku an Economist by training, knows the importance of accountability and financial responsibility.

 

A Grassroot Politician who is motivated by the zeal to give back to society, embarking on projects ranging from empowerment of youths, women ,school Children, with destinies changing opportunities to farmers needs.

 

Looking at his antecedents, he is a protege of Late SIO Giwa Amu, Late Chief Tony Anenih, Late Barr Zakawanu Garuba to mention a few, shows his loyalty personified, dignity exemplified, humility, respect and intelligence. He is a man of high Integrity and accountability.

 

His Human capital development in Owan West is second to none. He pursued the lighting of his Constituency under the name “Operation Light Up Owan West project”

He has done this with vigour and zest ,

Areas that have benefitted include,

1. Uhonmora /Eme-Ora solar light project.

2. Ukpafigbo Street, Sabongidda-Ora solar light project.

3. Ugbubezi road solar light project.

 

4. Ovbiokhuarin-Ora solar light project.

 

5. Sabongidda-Ora/Uzebba new road solar light project.

6. Egheomon street solar light project Uzebba.

7. Eruere Oshiofo street light project.

8. Ajanaku Street Solar light project, Oke New Ora.

9. Off Oba Road/ link to Okpuje Road, street light Project Uzebba

10. Ozalla Solar light Project.

His Other Projects include grading of 16 streets in Oke and Sabongidda -Ora, supply of Transformers to Eme and Uzebba.

Renovation of primary school and renovation of shopping mall in Uzebba.

 

 

Rt. Hon. Chief Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku as an agent of prosperity, has given out Motorcycles as Empowerment to assist our indigent farmers haul out agricultural produce from their farms.

 

He has in the past two years of his service as Speaker given out over 2000 free JAMB forms. Now, he has also set modalities in place for free distribution of NECO forms and a free NECO Examination Centre.

He also gives out Scholarships for indigent Students, all these as Education Empowerment Programs geared towards helping our children who want to further their Education do so .

 

Rt Hon Chief Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku is not a product of Man but of the Grace of God and the love of Owan West indigenes. In the days during his campaigns, like a circus acrobat, he climbed over the obstacles and won his elections. Grace carried him and made him the Speaker, first among Equals, but he has also carried all members along , sharing in the vision and aspirations of the state Governor, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo.

 

Rt Hon Chief Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku an Economist, a Legislator, an empowerment giver, a grassroot mobilizer, a visionary leader, a dynamic, subtle and an epitome of Intelligence.

 

Rt Hon Chief Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku can’t be trifled with, he is a man of the People with Street credibility and personality, He is a man with a great heart, blessed by God and loved by his people. His fountain cascades lively water.

He has given jobs to people from all over the State, he has given assistance to all in need.
