At the KICC International Gathering of Champions in Kent, United Kingdom, I was reminded once again of the power of community and faith to shape lives and destinies. I had the privilege of sharing reflections from my own journey in public service, knowing that our stories find their deepest meaning when they inspire others to serve.

Senior Pastor Matthew A. Ashimolowo and Resident Pastor Yemisi Ashimolowo have, for more than three decades, built Kingsway International Christian Centre Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) into one of Western Europe’s largest single congregations. Their steadfast devotion is a living testament to what vision and consistency can accomplish.

It was also a joy to reconnect with my friend Dr. Mensah Otabil, Senior Pastor of the International Central Gospel Church, Ghana, and to meet Councillor Princess Opeyemi Bright , Mayor of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, who at 29 is the youngest mayor in UK history, a reminder of how much promise lies in the next generation of leaders.

My heartfelt gratitude to Pastor Femi Faseru, Pastor Ade D’Almeida, and Minister Mayomi Anuwe for their gracious hospitality and care, which made this gathering not just memorable, but deeply meaningful.
