The Edo State Government has announced the nomination of Mr. Iriabekhai Kayode Jeffery as a commissioner-designate in the state.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., following the approval of the nomination by Governor Monday Okpebholo.
According to the statement, the nomination of Jeffery will be forwarded to the Edo State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The government described the nominee as a dedicated and goal-oriented professional with qualifications in Accounting and a strong commitment to organizational growth and excellence.
“He is widely recognized for his strong commitment to organizational growth and excellence, consistently making positive contributions toward the achievement of corporate goals and delivering remarkable results in assigned responsibilities,” the statement read.
The state government expressed confidence in his capacity to contribute meaningfully to governance and public service in Edo State if confirmed by the Assembly.
Governor Okpebholo’s administration has continued efforts aimed at strengthening governance structures and enhancing service delivery across the state.
