Popular Nollywood actor and producer Solomon Akiyesi has died.
The sad news was confirmed on Monday by Abubakar Yakubu, president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), in a statement to TheCable Lifestyle.
Yakubu revealed that the actor passed away in his sleep on Sunday. He added that Akiyesi’s remains have been deposited at a mortuary in Abuja.
The AGN president further noted that the guild is still awaiting additional details from the actor’s family regarding the circumstances surrounding his death.
