Grace and peace be unto you and your family in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
On this beautiful Sunday, the first day of a new week, we thank God for the gift of life and the privilege to see another day in the land of the living. May the presence of the Lord go with you and your household in all your endeavors today, and may you continually experience the fullness of joy found in His presence (Psalm 16:11).
Scripture Reading – Isaiah 40:28
“Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of His understanding.”
Reflection
In this powerful passage, the prophet Isaiah reveals the greatness of God—His nature and His limitless abilities.
1. The Nature of God
God is the Everlasting God. He does not grow weary, nor does He faint. The One who created and sustains the entire universe has never been exhausted and will never be. If He holds the universe in perfect order from the beginning of creation until now, then everything we place in His hands—our lives, families, and endeavors—is secure.
Therefore, let us confidently entrust our lives to Him.
God’s wisdom and understanding are beyond human comprehension. As the Scripture declares:
“Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out.” (Romans 11:33)
He is the LORD, the Almighty One, the incomparable God. When Moses asked His name, God responded:
“I AM THAT I AM.” (Exodus 3:14)
This means He is eternal, self-existent, and unchanging.
2. The Abilities of God
God is the Creator of the ends of the earth, the One who formed the heavens and the earth by His great power.
Scripture reminds us:
– “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” (Genesis 18:14)
– “Ah Lord God! You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power… nothing is too hard for You.” (Jeremiah 32:17)
– “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37)
Our God still specializes in making the impossible possible.
Is there any situation in your life that seems difficult or beyond solution? Do not lose heart. Look up in faith. Fix your eyes on the Lord and trust in Him.
“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith… Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 12:2; 13:8)
May the God who works wonders and performs the impossible arise on your behalf at the appointed time, in the precious name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God. Amen.
