Two students of Deeper Life High School (DLHS), Courage Alexander and Obokparoghene Egbodo-Othuke, have qualified for the 2026 National Bible Bee Final Competition scheduled to hold in Sandusky, Ohio, United States.
The students emerged among the successful participants following the 2026 National Bible Bee Competition held during the summer holiday, where more than 230 DLHS students from across Nigeria took part.
The students underwent about a week-long intensive preparation programme after the Proclaim Day event, with activities focused on Bible study, memorisation, drilling, testing and spiritual preparation ahead of the qualifying examination.
The programme was designed to strengthen the students’ knowledge of the Bible while developing discipline, confidence and other skills required for the competition.
Beyond the academic and spiritual exercises, the students also participated in sightseeing, excursions, sporting activities and other recreational events, providing opportunities for relaxation, interaction and team building.
Following the qualifying examination, Alexander and Egbodo-Othuke successfully secured places at the 2026 National Bible Bee Final Competition.
The global competition is scheduled to take place in Sandusky, Ohio, USA, from November 11 to 14, 2026, where the two students will represent their school and compete alongside other qualifiers.
