The Department of State Services (DSS) has dismissed 115 personnel as part of a renewed internal reform and disciplinary exercise aimed at strengthening professionalism and integrity within the Service.

In a statement, the agency said the action followed a series of internal reviews and disciplinary proceedings designed to rid the organization of misconduct and uphold its ethical standards.

The DSS also warned the public against dealing with dismissed or impostor operatives posing as active personnel, noting that such individuals often exploit unsuspecting citizens for fraudulent purposes.

The agency specifically mentioned Barry Donald and Victor Onyedikachi Godwin as among those earlier flagged for impersonation and other illegal activities.

Citizens were urged to verify the identity of anyone claiming to represent the DSS and promptly report suspicious individuals to the nearest service command or law enforcement office.

The Service reiterated its commitment to maintaining discipline, transparency, and accountability in its operations as part of broader efforts to ensure public trust.
