Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ede Dafinone, has marked his third anniversary in the Senate by expressing gratitude to his constituents and reaffirming his commitment to advancing the district’s development and prosperity.
In a statement commemorating three years since his swearing-in as a member of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dafinone thanked the people of Delta Central for the trust placed in him and acknowledged the support of traditional institutions, community leaders, political stakeholders, youth and women groups, and residents across the district.
The senator said he has remained focused on providing effective representation, ensuring that the interests of Delta Central are adequately represented in national affairs, and supporting policies and initiatives aimed at fostering development and creating opportunities for the people.
Reflecting on his tenure, Dafinone noted that while significant progress has been made over the past three years, many families and businesses continue to face economic difficulties.
According to him, these challenges underscore the need for sustained efforts and purposeful leadership to improve the welfare of citizens and strengthen economic growth.
Looking ahead, the lawmaker pledged to intensify efforts toward expanding economic opportunities, promoting education and skills development, advocating for critical infrastructure projects, and supporting initiatives that will enhance the socio-economic development of Delta Central and contribute to Nigeria’s long-term prosperity.
Dafinone described the anniversary as both a moment of reflection and a renewed commitment to service.
“This anniversary is not merely a moment of reflection but a reaffirmation of my commitment to serve with diligence, integrity, and purpose,” he stated.
He further assured constituents of his dedication to justifying the confidence reposed in him and advancing the interests of the district.
The senator concluded by thanking the people of Delta Central for the privilege of serving them and expressed optimism about building a stronger and more prosperous future for the district.
